The subjects of geoinformatics according to point of view of Ukrainian scientists there are two main scientific directions: 1) the computer informational systems for solving the problems of geology and geography; 2) informational processes in nature and in society, knowledge of which permits to labour for effectiveness of such systems. The main task of geoinformatics is deciphering the stone chronicle of the Earth crusts. In the report a new scheme of the history of the mankind culture is offered. According to this scheme we have two main epochs of the outer world cognition: 1) epoch of cognition, based on physical experiments that are short in time and do not permit to get true knowledge about cyclic processes whose periods are equal to millions and billions years; in this epoch only approximate information about the Universe as a whole can be obtained. 2) epoch of deciphering ?the stone chronicle? of the Earth crust. The main task of geoinformatics is such a deciphering. This task is successfully being solved. The acme of this titanic work is the construction of the mathematical model of the ?Plato's paradigm idea?, this in its way is ?The Constitution of the Worldedifice?. This Constitution predetermines, in particular, the geological history and it is the basement for producing scientific discoveries by a ?conveyor method?.
