Ust-uyrt - arid steppe in the Central Asia. It stretches between the Caspian and Aral seas. Ust-uyrt - is one of few zones, where by places are observed natural ecological balance, availability fauna and flora. Today, on this region are widely begun works relation with: extension of oil and gas pipelines, infrastructures; operation of natural pastures for animal industries, preservations fauna and flora, searches and investigation of oil and gas deposit, etc. All these measures are effectively feasible only with stable water-supply. Ust-uyrt there is not any hydrological network. Surface flows are local, temporary and insignificant (value of atmospheric precipitation average about 200-300 mm/years). The social, technical and mining-geological objects are supplied basically imported water. The main natural sources of a water-supply are the underground waters, about which testify hydro-geological and archaeological researches of the last years.
Have been created situation on the Ust-uyrt region requires learning and solution two problems:
a) studying of ecological balance on territory Ust-uyrt, factors homeostasis, reasons of occurrence of the factors of ecological danger hereafter, finding of solutions by their liquidation, localization and regulation;
b) research creation of resources fresh and weakly mineralized underground waters, quantitative valuation of their stocks, revealing possibilities of artificial creation new fresh low-power water-bearing of layers at the expense of a surface flow and substantiation of possibilities of a water-supply socially - technogenetic objects on the Ust-uyrt region.
The designed complex researches are stipulated for the first time. In this presentation shown:
- Estimation a modern consists and investigating of hydro-geological and ecological condition of Ust-uyrt region.
- To understand and to quantify the effects of natural factors on processes impacting to the ecological conditions of the region.
- To understand and to quantify the effects of anthropogenic factors on processes impacting to the ecological conditions of the region.
- Development of tactics searches deposits of underground waters and field operations on investigation by hydro-geophysical methods.
- Methodological researches, development improvement of hydro-geological and hydro-geophysical methods of a research as adaptation to the steppe areas of arid zone.
- Determination of an ecological condition and homeostasis of the territory. Development the plan of field operations. Analysis and interpretations field materials and data.
- Development criterions of valuation by occurrence of ecological danger on territory of mastering steppes of arid zone.
- Development of technology artificial creation subsurface, local fresh water-bearing of layers in the steppe zones, due to a temporary surface drain.
- Complex solutions of a problem ensuring of ecological safety and water-supply socially-technical objects on the territory of Ust-uyrt region.
